Hi, I'm Dominic

Helping students with math is what I do

Tutor maths to succeed

Throughout my 8-year practice as a teacher, I have had excellent learners, and have enjoyed the adventure of constantly investigating innovative methods of approaching a theme so that it is captivating and cool for the student I tutor.

How I teach

The teaching viewpoint of mine is focused on a learner: my intention is always to create a supportive, warm and inspiring workspace for learning the ways to progress.
I respond actively to the needs of every single person I tutor, building my training style so that it fully complies with their persona and potentials.

I also think that children get to know well if they're doing exersises connected with their education. This means making rhymes, presentations, drawing pictures, writing tasks, using games, and other types of interaction, that keeps students energised and stimulated relating to the object.

I explain competently and thoroughly, promptly analysing areas for upgrading, then using easy pattern spotting strategies. I concentrate on setting up basic activities for the scholar make their special perception of the matter. I adore maths and physics, and I never get overburden of discussing and researching these questions with my learners. It is a great satisfaction to come up with new and interesting approaches of delivering the topic so that it is always fresh and interesting for both sides. My students have always given me very positive testimonials on our lessons.

Feelings, emotions and tutoring maths

With the help of encouragement, humour, and patience, I permanently strive to teach my scholars that they are capable of much more than they know.
I strongly believe that my desire to revise teaching methods in compliance with the wishes of students, subject matter, and scholar demographics are all vital for me to be successful as a teacher.
I base my teaching on the view that the sole way to study maths is to do maths. Whereas the theoretical material is important, the real learning comes through solving mathematical issues, either computational, theoretical, or both.
I have also uncovered that giving tasks which directly relate to the scholar's personal life can assist in their learning the material and comprehension its application.

Perhaps my finest (or perhaps worst) feature is that I'm totally dissatisfied with my very own understanding.
